Limelight Lab Grown Diamonds Crosses 100-Store Mark, Targets 200 Outlets in 2027
Limelight Lab Grown Diamonds has crossed the 100-store milestone across 45 cities in India, marking a significant step in its retail expansion strategy. The Mumbai-headquartered company plans to double its retail network to 200 outlets in 2027, strengthening its position in India’s growing lab-grown diamond jewellery market. The brand operates across metropolitan centres as well as Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, reflecting its strategy of reaching consumers across diverse markets. Its retail network comprises exclusive brand outlets offering a range of lab-grown diamond jewellery, including solitaires, everyday fine jewellery and statement pieces. The expansion comes amid increasing consumer interest in lab-grown diamonds, with brands focusing on retail accessibility, contemporary designs and consumer awareness to drive adoption. Limelight aims to build on this momentum by strengthening its presence in existing markets while entering new locations across the country. Founder and Managing Director Pooja Madhavan said the company would explore international markets as part of its next phase of growth, indicating ambitions beyond its established domestic footprint. Director of Retail Expansion Karamjyot Chawla said the company would continue prioritising entry into new markets while expanding its nationwide network. Limelight’s growth strategy centres on combining a wider retail presence with product design and consumer education to build awareness of lab-grown diamond jewellery. With the target of reaching 200 outlets in 2027, the company is positioning itself for further expansion in both domestic and international markets. The planned expansion underscores the brand’s ambition to scale its retail operations and capitalise on evolving consumer preferences in the lab-grown diamond jewellery segment. |
