IGI Expressions™ 2024-25: Eminent Global Jury Members Announced for
International Jewelry Design Competition


The International Gemological Institute (IGI) is thrilled to announce the esteemed jury members for the fourth edition of its annual global jewelry design competition, IGI Expressions™ 2024-25. This year’s theme, ‘A Journey to the Enchanted Forest,’ invites talented designers from across the globe to unleash their creativity and explore the enchanting world of fairy tales through their exquisite jewelry designs.

We are thrilled to present our distinguished panel of international judges, each a leader in their field, whose diverse experience and creative vision. Below is the eminent jury panel -

  • Lisa Koenigsberg – President and Founder, Initiatives in Art and Culture (IAC), USA
  • Helen Mao – Renowned independent international jewelry consultant and popular jewelry author, China
  • Rajiv Popley – A third-generation member of the Popley family with 30 years of expertise in the jewelry sector, India
  • Varuna D Jani – Celebrated jewelry designer from the esteemed Popley’s, India
  • Neha Lulla – Award-winning designer with 15 years of experience, renowned for creating timeless pieces, India
  • Farah Yazbek – Founder of Joia Jewels and certified gemologist with a strong foundation in business and design, UAE

Participants of IGI Expressions™ will have the unique opportunity to showcase their designs across various categories, including Statement Piece, Convertible Jewelry, and Accessories, all while being evaluated by some of the brightest minds in the industry. By participating in this prestigious competition, designers can gain invaluable exposure, connect with industry professionals, and receive constructive feedback on their work.

The competition is open for submissions until January 30, 2025. Designers can submit their work in segments like CAD, manual sketches, and iPad designs, ensuring that all artists can participate regardless of their preferred medium.
